Baby Seth: HIV+, buried alive, rescued
Seth (3 years old) was brought to the orphanage as an infant after his mother, mentally deranged in the last stages of AIDS, buried him alive. An alert neighbor rescued him and he has been in the orphanage since. Because he is HIV+, he has battled with illness and was recently hospitalized with meningitis. He first round of anti-retroviral meds have not been effective, and doctors are hesitant to give him the second round. If they decide not to give him this second round, they will take him off all medications and he will most likely die within a month. Pray that he would be strong enough to take the second round and that they will bring him back to health.
