Life in this new place has been difficult for all of them. Refugees in this area typically struggle for work. Your gifts helped purchase machines and other materials so the brothers could begin manufacturing entire shoes, and therefore, have the chance to sell their wares in stores and bazaars.

On 3 June 2018, Volcan de Fuego (Volcano of Fire) strongly erupted, provoking floods of lava and mud along with ash, gaseous, and ballistic (small rocks) emissions. BGR is working with local Baptist pastors and churches to help provide shelter, food, and support for those affected.
